The Red Cross in Nottingham are offering a number of English conversation classes and IELTS speaking and listening in association with the Student Action on Refugee groups at both the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University. This is another example of both Universities working together and with the local refugee organisations to support sanctuary seekers in Nottingham.
At the moment classes are using online conferencing (Zoom and Microsoft Teams) but hope to move to face to face classes as space allows. For all classes you will need to get a joining code and you can get this by texting Bill Walton 07834 525008 and telling him which class you are interested in.
Mondays from 6.00pm to 7.30pm weekly Zoom English conversation and IELTS speaking and listening with students from Nottingham Trent University
Tuesdays from 7pm to 8.30pm weekly Microsoft Teams IELTS classes with students from Nottingham University and the Red Cross
Thursdays from 7pm to 8.30pm weekly Zoom English conversation and IELTS with students from Nottingham University
Monthly face to face creative writing at the Awate Education Centre Ilkeston Road from 7th November. For more information contact Bill Walton.
